This guy is a bitch

He signed a contract - almost two decades ago at this point - and is still complaining that he's being ripped off. He makes new employers bend to his will because of a bad decision HE agreed to with an old one. Shut the fuck up, already.

also, HE was the one that turned down an offer for 20 mil+ to continue the Chappelle show...... then he moved to Africa, and somehow he was praised for it.

fast forward 20 years, and he is complaining ... WTF?

reply

Our society has really evolved into an anti-authority one. People are paranoid about it. Anything "big" and in power is wrong. Government, big companies, whatever. They're always wrong, little guy always right.

Fact of the matter is, he made his own bed. He signed a contract.

Um, what happened in 1776 again? It's in the American character to be anti-authoritarian. I agree he should stop whining about something that happened two decades ago, but let's not disparage ACTUAL anti-authoritarians.

Let's not compare Comedy Central/whoever owns Chapelle's show to the British monarchy.

reply

I can understand Chapelles frustration, many artists have signed contracts that essentially take away all their rights to their own creations. But just see Chapelles anger as a warning instead of an annoyance.

Look who's paying attention

When you go to download new apps on your phone, read what you are granting access. I went to download a virtual reality game, because I got the headset as a gift. But the corresponding app for the game and headset to work on your phone wanted access to all my texts and contacts which made ZERO sense. Why would a game need to know who I talk to and what I say? I can understand granting access to your pictures and camera because games allow you to take screenshots, but even then they could use that to spy on you as well! Ended up not downloading it at all.

Its getting to a point where Im only keeping a smart phone for its GPS capability.
