Thanks so much for this lovely story about Matt and Kennedy. I have to confess that after all the controversy broke about Matt playing a transgender woman, I thought back to this interview. I wondered if his mention of Kennedy might have been a way to maybe get ahead of all that in part. But having read Kennedy's account of how genuine her interactions with Matt were back then and how heartfelt her feelings are on this subject, I just have more respect for Matt. This story only confirms what we already know, Matt is a gorgeous man both inside and out. Welcome to the boards, Claddagh😄

Hi Lucky, Thanks for the welcome 

I loved reading her reaction being remembered so warmly by Matt. It was upsetting & i cant imagine how he must have felt especially with the unfortunate timing, but there's been tremendous support for him.

Considering all he does & puts his heart into he deserved better.

It was good to see him out and about at the MPTF anniversary event. He and Simon looked really happy together. Given the recent loss of his grandfather and all the Anything negativity it has to have been hard. I know this is rather shallow of me, but he looked better than ever.

One thing that I've always admired about Matt is that he always acknowledges his costars, set workers, dance choreographers, teachers, etc on their influence on him. He is so appreciative & often openly so. I've learnt that from him and have incorporated that trait in my life.

I have noticed how much praise & warmth he gives to everyone he comes in contact with. He's always saying he strives to be a better person & it seems he was brought up that way.
