Matt doing Ads

Matt started his career with a regional ad with a grocery store chain in the Pittsburgh area. He was a check out boy at a giant Eagle? Store. The picture used to be on the net but is no longer.
He should do more ads, it's a great way to make money and get exposure. Jen Anniston used to do these ads for years.

I'd probably watch more TV if I thought he might pop up now and then.

The only one I know about is the Chef Michael commercial years ago. Have there been others.

Wait... is this post related to the smart water ad just posted on his twitter?

Matt started out in a regional commercial for Giant Eagle. He was a check out boy. He said this paid a good portion of his tuition at Carnegie Mellon. He was bagging groceries in it. That was when he went by Matthew Bomer.

What was the Chef Michael ad?

He also did Armani made to measure this past year.

He landed a cover of a male teen book at the beginning of his career.

He should do a series of these SmartWater ads. Jennifer Aniston did many over the course of a decade.
I suggest his fans buy this water; I'm sure a jump in sales will ensure more print and tv ads.
Pays the rent, baby.

Thanks Maggie.

Chef Michael was for dog food - they never show his face but you hear his face and one can only assume the human you see in it is him.

I knew about the Armani of course, and the teen book, but I've never seen the Giant Eagle ad.

I support Matt with Water.org and Art of Elysium, I've always supported LGBTQ and I purchase his film/tv projects on Amazon, but I can't get behind Smart Water no matter how much I love the man. I'm very much against bottled water (unless it's for people who have no access to safe clean water from their tap).

If SmartWater would package their water in those old time milk cartons, then you wouldn't have a problem? Or if the containers were glass?

Only glass would show you clear water.

I tried finding his first commercial. I guess his commercials talent agency mighy have that old ad, but it was before he came to Los Angeles to work.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be cryptic. It's all the plastic for the millions of bottles used worldwide every day. A few years back the stats were 1,500 plastic bottles used per second in the US, I'm not aware of the latest number. When you consider the amount of people who still don't recycle and the plastic accumulated in the ocean already that's the size of Rhode Island...

We use reusable water bottles, have purchased a few for each family member over the years. We're fortunate enough that we have good water in our home so we just fill our bottles straight from the tap and take enough reusables with us for the day. Even people whose water doesn't taste the best could get a filter for their tap. I know there are millions of people who legitimately rely on disposable bottled water but that's not the case for so many who use that as a excuse.

Besides all of that, people don't seem to be aware that there are no regulations on the water that companies put into the bottles. The bottles themselves are regulated, but not the water - it could be toilet water and you'd never know. There are some brands who go the extra mile to be sure there water is extra good - Smart Water is one of them - but many do not.

omg, I'm sorry for the soapbox!

I'd love to see Matt do more ads, especially TV campaigns. He would be wonderful in ads for menswear like Tom Ford or Armani or men's fragrances. I can imagine him in a James Bonds like espionage/intrigue backdrop. I'm so ready to see something that goes all in on his beauty and sexiness.

I have one of those plastic 2liter containers which I have to bleach out, the spout where you drink from gets moldy as well as the bottom of the bottle.
I'm back to buying the 24 or 32 pack spring water because it's cleaner and cheaper.
Will buy a SmartWater next time I'm at the store to check out the difference. Getting all the minerals from just drinking water is not a bad idea.
