I can't recall Bloom making any romcoms. He's a sexy stud, all the ladies like him, he's real famous. I'm surprised they never capitalized on that. He could have filled the void Matt McConn left behind. Maybe they're beneath him.

I think the greater question is what the hell happened to his career. He went from being a popular actor in LOTR and the Pirates series, and in films like Troy and Kingdom of Heaven, to having a pretty thick file in the Where are they now? filing cabinet.
I just looked up his filmography and don't recognize ANY of the films he's made in the past several years, except for the Hobbit movies.
