Underrated actress

I've been binge watching "Gunsmoke" lately, and I've come to really appreciate the talent of Amanda Blake. She was a charismatic, subtle, naturalistic actress. I suppose she got locked into "Gunsmoke" for two decades and was very comfortable there, but she could have had a much larger film career.

The only other thing I have seen her in was one episode of “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”.

I JUST CHECKED HER IMDB...GUNSMOKE IS THE ONLY THING I HAVE EVER SEEN HER IN...SHE WAS ALWAYS GOOD ON THE SHOW...TOO BAD SHE DIDN'T DO MUCH PAST THE SHOW.

The only other thing I've seen her in is the film "Stars in My Crown".
