Gee?? Imagine that?? I for one am shocked, well, not really..

U.S. District Judge Terry Doughty of Louisiana granted the injunction in response to a 2022 lawsuit brought by attorneys general in Louisiana and Missouri. Their lawsuit alleged that the federal government overstepped in its efforts to convince social media companies to address postings that could result in vaccine hesitancy during the COVID-19 pandemic or affect elections.

"Doughty cited “substantial evidence” of a far-reaching censorship campaign. He wrote that the “evidence produced thus far depicts an almost dystopian scenario. During the COVID-19 pandemic, a period perhaps best characterized by widespread doubt and uncertainty, the United States Government seems to have assumed a role similar to an Orwellian ‘Ministry of Truth.’ ”

reply

All your article says is that the White House asked for data on the number of videos being removed and offered to provide expertise on Covid. Is there something wrong with that.

reply

expertise like: if you have been vaccinated then you cant get covid.

reply

Please show me where they advised anybody that way. The Pfizer and Moderna trials both showed 95% efficacy, not 100%.

reply

Biden said that since the vaccines “cover” the highly transmissible Delta variant of the virus: “You’re not going to get Covid if you have these vaccinations.”

he didn't exaggerate. thats what he said.

now that I have posted proof you have no comment. I love pwning dems with facts... lol

Are you saying that people who got vaccinated were getting the disease that you think didn't really exist?

reply

people didnt want the vaccine when Trump was President.

reply

That's not true. Trump was pressuring the FDA to approve the vaccines before their review was completed. That is what people were against.

Democratic politicians raising concerns about how quickly coronavirus vaccines could be rolled out to the public appear to be bolstering anti-vax groups. By highlighting issues around the vaccine development process, politicians on the left may be inadvertently increasing skepticism among the wider public.

"I think it's the visibility," Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Newsweek. "[There's] more eyeballs on the process than has ever occurred in the past. Vaccine development in the past has been very obscure. There has not been much transparency and the first time people hear about vaccines is when the CDC recommends them.

"This time because of the pandemic and because there's a lot of people for the first time saying we may be forced to take this, that a lot more people are looking at it. People for the first time are seeing how the sausage gets made."

On September 24, New York governor Andrew Cuomo said the state will independently review all vaccines authorized by the federal government. "Frankly, I'm not going to trust the federal government's opinion and I wouldn't recommend to New Yorkers based on the federal government's opinion," he said in a statement.

This lack of trust in the government was picked up on by some anti-vax groups, saying Cuomo was reiterating their own arguments against vaccines generally. Cuomo's spokesman Richard Azzopardi responded to these groups, telling Newsweek "the anti-science crowd should knock it off and stop twisting our words."

"What we don't trust is a federal government that has been caught red-handed multiple times circumventing the health experts and ‎making political decisions seemingly to boost the president's re-election chances."

reply

At the start of September, Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris said she would not trust President Donald Trump's word alone that any vaccine developed is safe and efficient.

A week later, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden made similar remarks during a speech in Delaware, saying, "I trust vaccines, I trust scientists, but I don't trust Donald Trump."

Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi, Democratic speaker of the United States House of Representatives, has said any vaccine must meet safety standards before being released if it is to be accepted by the public.

"Unless there is confidence that the vaccine has gone through the clinical trials, and then is approved by the independent scientific advisory committee, as established to do just this, there will be doubts that people will have."

"This time because of the pandemic and because there's a lot of people for the first time saying we may be forced to take this, that a lot more people are looking at it. People for the first time are seeing how the sausage gets made."

I dont know what Bivins is.

there was never any testing or trials for the vaccine. it got emergency status and was rolled out without long term FDA testing.

you are starting to sound like an anti-vaxxer. lol

also, dont forget that Joe is the one that made taking the unapproved vaccine mandatory. take the jab or lose your job. China did the same thing to their people.

reply

no comment? lol

You quoted a noted antivaxxer, Robert F Kennedy.

Kamala Harris made her comment at a time when Trump was pushing the FDA to approve the vaccines before their review was completed, which is what I said.

I think you might have long covid and it's clouding your brain.

reply

No such thing as long-covid.

That is their cover for the side-effects that the vaccine is still having after three years.
They have inverted almost everything between a variant of the common flu (covid) and their vaccines.

reply

People were reporting "long-covid" before the vaccine was out.

Look at the timestamp.

More internet scriptures.

When they created an excuse or a lie makes no difference since they simply re-labeled the flu as covid.
They are now coming up with the same bullshit lie of “long-flu” to associate it with “long-covid” to confirm/verify that lie.

They can re-label any temporary illness with the term “long-anything.”

reply

>More internet scriptures.

Dude, it's literally the NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE OF THE UK talking about long Covid before the vaccine. Look at the timestamp.

>When they created an excuse or a lie makes no difference since they simply re-labeled the flu as covid.
They are now coming up with the same bullshit lie of “long-flu” to associate it with “long-covid” to confirm/verify that lie.

Are you accusing the NHS of deliberately lying about the existence of long covid?

reply

wait, so you are mad that Trump got the vaccine out to the people as fast as he could? I assume you took the Trump vaccine? just admit it that Trump created Operation Warp Speed and saved billions of lives.

Kamalatoe was an anti-vaxxer until Jan 19, 2020. now she supports the untested clot shot.

reply

I am in favor of medical experts making medical decisions, not politicians, and certainly not politicians like Trump who will say anything if it benefited him, without care for how it affected others.

I took the Pfizer vaccine, which Trump really had nothing to do with.

reply

Fauci is an expert. remember when he said '15 days to slow the spread'? then he said masks are not needed, then he said to wear one mask then he said to wear 2 masks. then Fauci said to get 2 more boosters, then the medical experts thought it was a good idea to shut the Country down for a year. then Joe said you cant get covid if you have been vaccinated.

The BioNtech project to develop a novel mRNA technology for a COVID-19 vaccine was called "Project Lightspeed", which started in mid-January 2020.

what kind of testing did this new vaccine undergo? what are the long term affects of mRNA vaccine?

as I recall, all the vaccines received emergency authorization by the FDA, which means they didnt undergo the standard testing protocols.

also, dont you find it odd that it took only 6 months to create a vaccine?

lastly, the vaccine neither prevents nor cures covid. instead of being sick for 7 days you are only sick for 5 days. its the same thing as the flu vaccine.

reply

Project Lightspeed was indeed started by BioNtech in January 2020. It was an internal program and had nothing to do with Trump's Project WARP SPEED which was announced on May 15, 2020. Pfizer and BioNtech did not take any funding from Project Warp Speed.

What kind of testing did it undergo?

Here you go: https://www.fda.gov/media/144245/download

Many people wondered how they could develop a vaccine so much faster than it had ever been done before, and that is a good question with good answers.

First, the mRNA technology allowed them to make a vaccine faster than traditional methods. Someone from the Wuhan virology lab leaked the genetic sequence of several covid strains on a Friday in January 2020 and by Monday, BioNTech's scientists in German had the actual vaccine in their hands which was eventually approved.

Where shortcuts taken? Yes, but not ones that threatened the integrity of the project. Basically they threw fiscal risk assessment out the window. Normally, vaccine development (and all drug development) proceeds linearly, with one step being completed and evaluated and assess for economics before moving to the next, more expensive step. In this way, if one step fails, they don't waste money on other things. For example, manufacturing, storage and stability testing needs to be done but these things would usually not be done until they knew if the vaccine worked and was safe.
if a vaccine were found to not be effective, then they would have thrown away a lot of money on these steps.

But for the covid vaccines, they moved on things simultaneously, not giving any consideration to the hundreds of millions they might throw away if one of the steps failed. Time was of the essence, lives were at stake AND the prestige of solving the most serious public health crisis in a century was at stake.

Recruiting for a trial is often difficult and time consuming but for covid vaccines it was easy because so many wanted a vaccine.

On July 22, 2020, Operation Warp Speed placed an advance-purchase order of $2 billion with Pfizer to manufacture 100 million doses of a COVID-19 vaccine for use in the United States when the vaccine was shown to be safe, effective, licensed, and authorized by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).On December 23, 2020, the Trump administration announced that they had ordered another 200 million doses from Pfizer.

you forgot to mention that Trump ordered the vaccine for you. Its a good thing Trump started OWS because otherwise you wouldnt have had access to the vaccine that was purchased by Trump.

A total of six deaths occurred in the reporting period (2 deaths in the vaccine group, 4 in
placebo). In the vaccine group, one participant with baseline obesity and pre-existing
atherosclerosis died 3 days after Dose 1, and the other participant experienced cardiac arrest
44
60 days after Dose 2 and died 3 days later. Of the four deaths in the placebo arm, the cause
was unknown for two of them, and the other two participants died from hemorrhagic stroke
(n=1) and myocardial infarction (n=1), respectively; three deaths occurred in the older group
(>55 years of age). All deaths represent events that occur in the general population of the age
groups where they occurred, at a similar rate.

The Food and Drug Administration announced on June 30, 2020, that a vaccine would need to be at least 50% effective for diminishing the severity of COVID-19 symptoms to obtain regulatory and marketing approval.

whoa, wait a second, back this bus up...now you are saying the covid DNA was leaked in Jan 2020? according to democrats, covid started in the wet market. so again Trump was right about the lab leak, the DOE and FBI also confirmed it was a lab leak.

Trump left zero plans for distributing the vaccine, a major reason why the roll out was so slow and ended up wasting a whole lot of vaccines that went bad before being dosed. That was his biggest and deadliest mistake.

Sept. 16, 2020 |
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Department of Defense (DoD) today released two documents outlining the Trump Administration’s detailed strategy to deliver safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine doses to the American people as quickly and reliably as possible.

The documents, developed by HHS in coordination with DoD and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), provide a strategic distribution overview along with an interim playbook for state, tribal, territorial, and local public health programs and their partners on how to plan and operationalize a vaccination response to COVID-19 within their respective jurisdictions.

“As part of Operation Warp Speed, we have been laying the groundwork for months to distribute and administer a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine as soon as it meets FDA’s gold standard,” said HHS Secretary Alex Azar. “This in-depth, round-the-clock planning work with our state and local partners and trusted community organizations, especially through CDC, will ensure that Americans can receive a safe and effective vaccine in record time.”

The strategic overview lays out four tasks necessary for the COVID-19 vaccine program:

Engage with state, tribal, territorial, and local partners, other stakeholders, and the public to communicate public health information around the vaccine and promote vaccine confidence and uptake.
Distribute vaccines immediately upon granting of Emergency Use Authorization/ Biologics License Application and once CDC has made vaccine recommendations, using a transparently developed, phased allocation methodology.
Ensure safe administration of the vaccine and availability of administration supplies.
Monitor necessary data from the vaccination program through an information technology (IT) system capable of supporting and tracking distribution, administration, and other necessary data.

This report to Congress details a strategy to achieve the principal purpose and objective of
Operation Warp Speed (OWS): ensuring that every American who wants to receive a COVID-19
vaccine can receive one, by delivering safe and effective vaccine doses to the American people
beginning January 2021.
The leadership of OWS has committed to being transparent with Congress, the media, and the
American people. OWS has provided regular briefings on topics of interest to Congress and the
media and will continue to provide updates and announcements as OWS reaches new milestones.
Congress has been a vital partner in the all-of-America response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With support provided through emergency supplemental and flexible discretionary funding,
OWS has now made strong progress toward a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine, with multiple
candidates in Phase 3 clinical trials.
Simultaneously, OWS and partners are developing a plan for delivering a safe and effective
product to Americans as quickly and reliably as possible. Experts from the Department of
Health and Human Services (HHS) are leading vaccine development, while experts from the
Department of Defense (DoD) are partnering with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC) and other parts of HHS to coordinate supply, production, and distribution of vaccines.
Successful implementation of the national COVID-19 vaccination program requires precise
coordination across federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial governments and among many
public and private partners. Cooperation on each of these fronts has already begun, as detailed
throughout this strategy document.
OWS is harnessing the strength of existing vaccine delivery infrastructure while leveraging
innovative strategies, new public-private partnerships, and robust engagement of state, local,
tribal, and territorial health departments to ensure efficient, effective, and equitable access to
COVID-19 vaccines.

These things have nothing to do with each other. You just think you found a way to fit in your master's talking points which you don't even understand.

how was the covid DNA leaked? please elaborate more on that subject.

>you forgot to mention that Trump ordered the vaccine for you. Its a good thing Trump started OWS because otherwise you wouldnt have had access to the vaccine that was purchased by Trump.

Literally any President would've thrown everything at getting the vaccine through.

Trump still saved everyones lives by starting Operation Warp Speed and for purchasing the Pfizer vaccine. You are either for Trump doing this or you are against it, please pick a lane.

reply

cont - The statistics were favorable because the virus was so prevalent and so highly transmissible. This substantially cut down on the numbers needed to achieve statistical significance and the duration of observation needed to see differences between treated and placebo groups.

Emergency Use Authorization - this is often used process for important drugs. It entails heightened surveillance and vigilance and often limited roll out at first to asses safety in larger and uncontrolled populations. The vaccines were all given standard authorization in short order.

I remember the first trial of AZT for AIDS. The trial was halted early, because the independent review group, which had access to who got placebo and who got AZT saw that ALL the deaths were happening in the placebo group. At that point, it became unethical to withhold an obviously lifesaving medication from a placebo group. The drug was given EUA and evaluation was continued before final approval.

again, thanks to Trump and Operation Warp Speed, everyone had access to the vaccine which saved millions of lives. I assume you are thankful Trump was able to purchase the Phizer vaccine?

BTW, from january to december is 11 months, not 6 months. Typical exaggeration of you Trumpies.

And you seem to want to both play down the seriousness of COVID while giving Trump credit for speeding up a vaccine. Pick a fucking argument and stick with it!

reply

also May to December is 8 months. January is when the research started not when the vaccine was ready.

I never downplayed the seriousness of COVID, I was freaked out just like everyone else. when people started hoarding food is also when things got serious. did you want Trump to scare everyone and tell them there was no food and they were going to die? thats not what a leader does.

I credit Trump with everything. he was the right President at the right time. just admit that Trump saved your life and everyone else in America so we can move on.

The Pfizer and Moderna trials both showed 95% efficacy, not 100%.

lol, what happened to Fauci's claim that it was 100% safe and effective

Oh, btw, in reference to that 95% efficacy claim:

When did Fauci ever say it was 100% safe and effective?

Anybody can sue anybody else.

Yeah, their plans failed. You are either behind on news or you are in denial.

That's still old news, those were also false accusations and he pleaded not guilty regardless of the upcoming trial.
