Congress has approved a deal to raise the government's borrowing limit and prevent a potentially catastrophic default on US debt repayments.

The agreement passed the Senate on Thursday, a day after it passed the House of Representatives.

Once signed into law by President Joe Biden, it will allow the federal government to borrow money until after the next presidential election in November 2024.

US national debt soared by $359 billion in 1 day after the ceiling was raised

The US Treasury reports that now the national debt is $31.83 trillion and is growing by $2 million every minute .

Hopefully more money to Ukraine & Israel going forward!

The other plus: Under OVomit, negotiated settlements of SEC, DOJ & other agencies...The money paid in by offenders did not go into the Treasury, it got paid to Liberal activist organizations. Pres. Trump is or has put this to a stop. Sure would like to see an audit on who got the money, like Black Lives Matter who are funded by Soros & other organizations that were also funded by Soros.

It’s prosperous I know!! Imagine all the money , lent by banks, that are sent out of the country as gifts for Ukraine. I wonder how much is routed to / or back to offshore accounts and companies owned by people in The Swamp ( ie DC ) and their associates in Fairfax and other suburbs. Places that now are the wealthiest in America.

It’s out tax 🇺🇸 money they are stealing!

Don't sweat that strange theory.

The truth is that Red State Munition factories will get rewarded with more contracts to keep more citizens employed.
More military people will get more Military Welfare.
More arms will be sold to other countries in a Proxy war.
Etc.

Wash, Rinse, Repeat It is the Republican way.
