So, Old Joe doesn't deny that there will be a payment, but he denies the AMOUNT. His "reasoning" is that people were traumatized by Trump's policy, and that they deserve remuneration.

It doesn't seem to occur to that Dems that if people didn't come here ILLEGALLY, they wouldn't have been "traumatized" in the first place!

So, we're paying people for BREAKING THE LAW, while people who come here the right way get nothing.

This is a fucked-up way of reasoning.
