Those are temporary jobs for construction. Running the pipeline annually would only be like 70 permanent jobs. Also the pipeline is only for exporting the oil. And it's tar sands oil that would cause major problems for the environment if it developed a leak. Which guess what? They were using rusty ass pipes to carry it. These pipes have been laying in the sun for 12+ years.
