I feel bad. They may have a lot of money, but now they're going to be paying $160,000 dollars total in taxes after the increase. That's no small potatoes, I don't care who you are.

the 160k cant be a fixed number
and it is indeed very small potatoes to the .7%

The joke was that the top .7% were only paying $1000 dollars in taxes before this increase. Not a good joke, I know, but nobody's perfect.

The government knows best how to spend our money. So I don't feel bad at all.
