We've all done things we're not proud of in our lives. But like most people, mine wouldn't make interesting reading. I've never seriously harmed anyone. So it would surprise me to hear the term "vile" used by anyone who knew me. I simply haven't put in the work to earn it.
So yeah, I'm comfortable passing judgment on guys like Kim Jong-Un, or Ted Bundy, or Hitler ... or Trump. I've rarely encountered anyone who has almost no redeeming human qualities. There's one guy who lived near me, who abused his wife and children and was just a disgusting individual. He comes pretty close. But even he showed more traces of humanity than Donald Trump.
One thing I'd like to know: you recognize that Trump lies nonstop, right? He says all kinds of things that are provably false. He even contradicts his own words, sometimes refusing to admit ever saying what he said only five minutes ago. So why do you not consider that everything he tells his supporters is also a lie? You think he EVER drops out of BS Mode?
Trump isn't perfect by any means but show me a politician who doesn't lie. Biden? Harris? Warren? the Clintons? Obama? All liars. I think all of them are vile but I sure don't wish death on any of them. If you put Trump in the same category as Kim Jong-Un, Ted Bundy, or Hitler then I'm having a conversation with an irrational person and I see no point in that.

We are still living in a democracy though. Basic information about science, policy and government actions, is available if you're willing to do a little looking around on your own. I avoid sources attached to any politically polarized group. If you want to get a feel for a news site, look at a sampling of the other stories that day. Not hard to see if they're neutral and try to keep opinion confined to the opinion page, offer a variety of different viewpoints, or are clearly aligned with a particular agenda.
The important thing is, only one set of facts exists - "alternative fact" is just another way of saying "bullshit". The truth is out there, as they say. But you have to break the habit of believing what you're told just because you're told. Get out of your echo chamber of choice and find the facts for yourself. Everyone online and in traditional media has their own priorities and agenda. Some are very truthful, others highly deceitful, and you'll never know for sure which is which until you do your own homework.

Fox is nuts. They used to be a conservative version of CNN when they started, but nowadays they actually run stuff as news which has no basis in truth whatsoever. It's become propaganda. I've gone to conferences in Shanghai China, and seen what the newscasts are like from my hotel room. Fawning over the greatness of their leaders. Parroting the party line and disparaging anyone or anything that doesn't line up with it. Telling lies we know are BS but many Chinese citizens believe. Fox has become disturbingly close to that. The right pair of stories could be split screened and parallel each other very closely in tone and content (although the Chinese half would need subtitles).

Other than starting a vaccine program, Trump has done nothing about covid-19. Not only that but he's opposed mask mandates, social distancing, any kind of restrictions on gatherings or bars or gyms - he's actually riled up his followers to openly flaunt health guidelines and state measures where they live, like they're striking some great blow for freedom.

The night and day difference in the course of the pandemic, which literally started in both countries on the same day, that most certainly IS the fault of Donald Trump. Masks don't work, go look at the Danish study on masks they showed no statistical significance in marks versus no masks. Couple that with the WHO giving wear a mask, don't wear a mask statements and the fact is masks were never going to do anything. You will however look back and see that Pedo-Joe was against banning flights from China early one which is what would have actually help.

But the Orange Ogre's so-called ban on Chinese travel had enough loopholes that thousands still arrived from Wuhan under that "ban". Not that it mattered. The first community infections arrived on flights from Europe, which were wide open and unrestricted at that time.

As for the masks I didn't do the study that was done by researchers and was valid. The fact is no study has every been done to prove that masks work for the virus none.
No. More than a century of medical experience proves they do work. The principle is quite simple. Virus particles don't float free in air. They're inside tiny little water bubbles, a fine mist you exhale all the time but which is full of virus when you're infected. The mask traps that moisture while air molecules can still get through, allowing you to breathe. It's not as airtight as a diving helmet or a gas mask (which would protect the wearer 100% as well) but it's still highly effective. There is no debate on this. They're referred to as surgical masks for a reason - because surgeons and their teams wear them to prevent the spread of infection in a sterile OR setting. You need to stop believing everything you read on right wing conspiracy websites.

You have no clue. A surgical mask provides no protection against airborne viruses, to obtain any protection you need an N95 mask which is completely different from a surgical mask. A surgical mask is intended to keep a surgeon from contaminating an opening in a patient from bacterial infection from the surgeon, it has nothing to do with stopping any virus. And an N95 mask doesn't even give you 100 percent protection as the number implies it capture 95% of the particles when tested... and if you don't catch all the particles containing the virus it means nothing which is why the Dutch study showed not value in wearing masks.

No numbnutz, the 95% is incoming - it absorbs 95% of incoming droplets and aerosols. Surgical masks aren't intended primarily to protect the wearer whereas N95 masks are.
I beg to differ that not catching 100% of the virus makes a mask worthless. If your initial exposure is to a lot of virus, you'll get much sicker and have a greater chance of death than if you're exposed to a small quantity. So even if the mask "fails" it still protects you.

My wife's doctor is also the head of the emergency department at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California, one of the leading hospitals in the country. He has dealt directly with all the corona virus patients coming to the hospital in the past year. He says that masks do nothing to protect the wearer, or to protect others in the vicinity of the wearer. According to him, masks are pointless, except as a psychological security blanket for the science-naive.

Sure, but it wouldn't eliminate all the deaths because the virus doesn't normally kill someone because they are fat or skinny, it typically kills someone because the person's body experiences a cytokine storm where the person's body overreacts to the virus producing way too many pro-inflammatory cytokines. You basically drown on the cytokines that build up in your lungs... which is also why a ventilator doesn't really do shit, because a ventilator is intended for someone that needs help breathing because the muscles that support breathing aren't capable of doing the job, that isn't what a person experiencing a cytokine storm needs, they would be much better treated with drugs to inhibit the pro-inflammatory cytokine production or when the storm has progressed having a tube inserted into their lungs to extract the excess fluid buildup. And whether you are a fat couch potato or a marathon runner the cytokine storm can impact either and kill either.
