Oh honey, please don't call me 'jamie bell-er' LOL There's so much to me than that, I assure you.

Anyway, though most of the time I'm a complete Richard Armitage-er, I'm totally a Colin-Firth-er today )))))) just happy he won BAFTA. OMG, I wish he won Oscar this year... but you never know. They could easily give it to 'some American git' again ))) OR, to be precise, to some 'true American grit'. Again.

oh helegis colin firth! and take another oh helegis for the pun!-
i always thought colin was the most boring man on earth. and due to budgetary constraints i havent seen any of his award winning performances. so im stuck with his perfomrance in bridget jones in my head......yes wernt always that good was he! and err who is Richard Armitage?!! I could look him up and pretend but your indignation is much funnier.

Colin Firth hasn't always been trapped in mr.Darcy's wet shirts and Bridget Jones' spandex girdle. He is actually one of the most underrated English actors of his generation who's been typecast most of his carrer, but I wouldn't blame him. Better typecast than starve to death.

He was amazing in Forman's Valmont and he was great in Girl With a Pearl Earring, A Single Man and King's Speech. And he's not boring, I assure you. Just listen to his acceptance speeches.

Richard Armitage is the guy with THE SEXIEST VOICE ON EARTH. He's not the best actor on the planet, but OMG who cares. He's definitely been the best voice actor for years. He can also play cello and flute, so I don't care if his acting abilities are, say, modest. He was wonderful in North and South http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417349/ - but that is only if you like BBC costume dramas. I like some of them and loath the rest of them LOL
Right now he's playing 'the Main Dwarf' Thorin in Jackson's Hobbit. The IMDB pix don't do him any justice, he's really waaaaay much more attractive. OH and he played Lucas North in Spooks, in case if you saw it. It's a hugely successful TV-series in UK, so you might have seen it...

And he was in The Vicar Of Dibley (if you've ever heard of Dawn French) and his voice was so gorgeous that some adult women even watched BBC Robin Hood (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0787985/ - totally crappy TV-show for kids. Well, maybe it's not that crappy if you're a kid.

It's one of those 'guilty pleasures', you know... When you download a radio-interview and just keep listening to it, without even understanding what he's talking about, because of his VOICE. I'm not saying, of course, that his voice works magic for EVERY woman on the planet, but it certainly does for lots of them, myself included.

"And that's why I'm sooooo looking forward to seeing the 6'2" tall Richard play a DWARF )))))))))))))))))))"
