She NEEDS to come back

She has been in many good movies. Have you ever seen "Lost and Delirious", "Closing The Ring" and "the O.C".

She has 3 movies in production. We don't know when Bhopal,Prayer for Rain, or Misadventures of Ben Banks will ever be released. Working with Martin Sheen should help her career.

Can't forget Lawn Dogs— her first big movie role, 10 years old, and she was incredible. She was also great in Lost and Delirious, The Sixth Sense, Skipped Parts, and even Octane (although a lot of people hate the film), but she's done some films that are less-than impressive as well. She is a good actress who has done some mediocre performances, IMO, but she is definitely one of the most capable of her peers.

I agree about her being a GREAT actress (Compared to others her age) but she has been a no-show lately and I'm her biggest fan. She needs a huge role so everyone start to love her again...

I said it on Savaged board, She could have been a perfect "O". I get the feeling she doesn't want to do a big moive. (So she can be more famous! if that's even possible...)

I just, Want a lot of Mischa Barton in Good bluck buster's or movies with big names attached to it! Something Box Office worthy... Somthing to put her back on the tracks...

I'm not talking about her past performances or how good she is. Everyone knows she is a great actress with good looks and has done a lot! I'm talking about the future...

I would love to see Mischa have a comeback and I personally think that her best shot at a comeback would be to give the indie movie thing a break for a little while and concentrate on finding a really good tv project. She loves doing horrors and thrillers so I think something along the lines of 'American Horror Story' or 'True Blood' would be great for her.

Even just doing guest starring parts on shows like that would be great for her career. And that could then lead to better movie offers. Interest in Evan Rachel Wood shot up just from shooting a few guest appearances on 'True Blood'.

I think she does indie movies by choice.
There are many actresses out there who wished they had one-fourth of Mischa's success.

she needs that Kirsten Dunst moment, a lead role in some really great indie-movie and then back to business with some awesome artsy fartsy stuff inbetween

Unless somehow she finds the role of a lifetime I think Mischa's time is well over. I think she is a great Actress, had a lot of potential after The O.C. but it didn't work out in her favor. She's definitely turned things around which is awesome, but she turned it around too late however. But she seems to be getting more media attention nowdays and looks absolutely amazing. She's doing Homefront with a high profile cast and a Martin Scorsace produced film. Things might be looking up

Mischa is only 27 years old she has plenty of time to get a lead role. Since Mischa is British why doesn't she try to get work in the UK?
