Look how many projects she has coming up. It's actually nice to see an actress take whatever work she can get and not be so stuck up about it. You can't say she's struggling to find work.

shareI think her looks, past fame as a teen star (I really haven't heard anyone talk about her much since The OC), and decent acting skills will keep her afloat on the B-movie circuit for a while. Looking at the films she has coming up, a good majority of them are horror films that don't sound all that great. I think she lost her shot at being a serious A-list actress a while ago and now she's not being choosy about what roles she's offered. And producers probably think she's pretty and well-known enough to star in a small B-movie or indie film. I guess it's good because it means she'll be working consistently, but I would be very surprised if she ever reaches her OC day level of fame again. Looks like she's just working on anything she can get now.

She's desperate because she took a 4-million-dollar loan to buy a house that she now can't afford. According to TMZ she's facing foreclosure because she owes 100k in mortgage payments. It's kind of amazing that she can't come up with 100k bucks when she's doing all of these movies - one can only imagine the pittance she's being paid for these projects.
Very stupid of her, to be honest. Now that every producer in Hollywood knows she'll take any part and work for whatever money she's offered, she'll have a VERY hard time commanding a decent paycheck again. Should have lived within her means to begin with, instead of rushing to buy an overpriced mansion just because she was on a somewhat successful show on a minor channel that could be cancelled any second. I guess her ego got the best of her and she thought she was going to be an A-list celebrity once OC was cancelled.
Well that explains it. People and their need to keep up with the Jones. Seriously, why does one person need an 8 bedroom 11 bath house??? Makes no sense. Ben Mckenzie on the other hand has been constantly working since the show went off the air so Mischa must be doing something wrong.
