He was 30 when he played a teenager in "Risky Business"? Damn. Why don't they cast teenagers in teenage roles?

Granted that Cruise was in his early 20's. But a 30-year-old playing a high school kid is a stretch.

Revenge of the Nerds (1984) was released 39 years ago.

Robert Carradine was a co-host of King of the Nerds (2013) TV Series (reality show) 2013–2015, 24 episodes. It was a really good reality show, where male and female nerd types had to solve all sorts of things in various weekly contests. But Carradine did very little. Curtis Armstrong really ran that show by himself. He was very good at it. I would not have guessed that he was 60-62 years old at the time. He looked much younger.

He was excellent in a small role, as a public school principal in a poor district in Akeelah and the Bee (2006).
