Apatow also was criticized for other tweets going after Smith, with some pointing out he was executive producer of Freaks and Geeks when James Franco physically assaulted Busy Philipps. Yet Apatow continued working with Franco.

Judd Apatow needs to stay off social media. He seems to have a complete blind spot about his own very bad misjudgement, whilst going after people (of various races and ethnicities) far more talented than himself (e.g. Will Smith, Tom Cruise and Woody Allen).
