One hit wonder?
She had that catchy tune about smiling when she makes a guy cry and that's it.
shareShe had that catchy tune about smiling when she makes a guy cry and that's it.
shareShe had a few other hits, but she's another insufferable rich nepo kid (she even had an outburst about 'how unfair' it was to criticise neop babies like herself, who were in the arts, when 'other nepo babies, in banking and politics, are worse'). She's obviously one of those overly-sensitive, thin-skinned rich kids who resents being born with all the privileges, even though no-one would likely have heard of her if she hadn't.
shareSome years back my son got into a blazing row with her on social media about a comment she made on white male privilege. Ended up getting an apology from her.
shareReally? Well, credit to her for apologising, I guess. Was it a sincere apology, do you think?
shareSeemed to be. She retracted her blanket statement, admitted she'd over-generalised and said she was sorry for any hurt caused.
shareTBF, that's very reasonable of her. I now retract some of my criticism of her.
She's clearly a hot-head, but at least she's decent enough to admit when she's wrong. I respect people who possess at least an iota of humility.
She blames having kids on ruining her career.

"it's a wonder she's still alive"
I actually quite like a couple of her tunes. well not the tunes, but the way she sings them
