See what happens when you do to many drugs, you can't think clearly when you get old. These pro-vax cocksuckers always fail to look at the reality of the vaccines. This vaccine has an efficacy rate of 20%... which means it's not really worth a shit. But the biggest problem is if you are vaccinated and believe the thing works you shouldn't give a fuck what someone else does or doesn't do. It's like some fucking cunt that wants to force someone else to wear a helmet or seat belt - They need to mind their own fucking business.

reply

a helmet or seat belt
good example , why do you think those are legal requirements ?

reply

Because lobbyists pushed for the changes in the laws. For seatbelts they were actually pushed by auto makers that didn't want to make safer cars by using airbags and other design changes because installing a seatbelt was much cheaper. The convinced the federal government to extort states into adopting the laws or lose federal funding. If you look at state statistics on traffic deaths you find that there are a large number of deaths where seatbelts were in use. The reality is the seatbelts in a modern car don't really do much in terms of saving lives. In a survivable crash the airbags alone are generally adequate to save someone from death. The fatal crashes are very often the result of crashes at such a high speed and often involving head on collisions such that it wouldn't matter if you were belted in or not you were pretty much doomed to die.

In the end society shouldn't have any say in whether someone wears a seatbelt or not. The risk of a crash causing Billy Bob to go flying out of the car and hitting another person is pretty fucking low. If society is going to go out playing the over protective mother then where does it end? We should ban everything that has a potential to cause an injury unless you can justify the activity... so lets ban skiing, football, cheerleading, ladders, showers, and on and on.

reply

... pushed by auto makers that didn't want to make safer cars by using airbags

Sorry, but it just took LONGER to develop a reliable airbag system. The seat belt concept is way easier to realize. But even there they made a lot of progress concerning comfort.

reply

Airbags were first patented in the 1950's. Ford and General Motors had them available in cars in the early 70's, but even then both Ford and General Motors spent lots of money lobbying against them being required in cars in large part because it would have increased the cost of the cars. You know these are the same companies that created exploding Pintos because making them safe would have cost 12 dollars more per car. It had nothing to do with the engineering ability to put them in cars, it had everything to do with manufacturers wanting to avoid ANY cost in installing them.

> See what happens when you do to many drugs, you can't think clearly when you get old.

What an idiotic comment. This kind of ignorance use to be the stuff of jokes ... now Republicans are so dumb they take it seriously.

reply

Oh, you poor ignorant cunt. I'm no republican, not rich enough or white enough to be one.

reply

I don't believe one word of this. The casual use of vulgar language and superior attitude smacks of white republican.
Probably not rich, though.

reply

Oh, so you're a racist and a cunt.

reply

If it makes you feel happy to say so, then sure.

From you, it's a compliment, like being called a homosexual by J Edgar Hoover.
Laughable and completely off-base but utterly to be expected considering the source.

reply

You don't even know who your people are, no wonder you are so sad.

reply

No helmets or seat belts? Laughable statement.
Those that survive, and there would be thousands, would clog up hospital beds and resources for months after an accident.

reply

Your ignorance is astonishing. Take a hundred motorcycle riders with helmets an a hundred without. Put everyone into an accident and the hospital will have far more that were wearing helmets than were not. You don't wear a helmet you are more likely to die, you wear a helmet and you are more likely to be in a hospital for an extended period of time. And the overwhelming number of victims that are paralyzed for life will be the ones that were wearing a helmet, that same accident will normally kill the person without a helmet.

As for seatbelt, with the advent of airbags they really don't matter. If you can survive the crash it doesn't matter much whether you were wearing the seatbelt or not, the only times they really do anything is in a rollover where they can increase the odds of you staying inside the vehicle, but the reality is only a very small fraction of accidents involve a roll over.

He is a scientist.

reply

An astrophysicist I think. So he knows as much about vaccines as you and me, unless you're an epidemiologist?

reply

He understands the scientific method and how to interpret studies and data. He's also just a highly intelligent fellow.

reply

Not so much when it came to Freddie Mercury. He, Roger and John all have Freddie portrayed as an out-of-control gay man in Bohemian Rhapsody. Most of yhe time Freddie was at home with his cats, eating potato chips and watching the telly.

reply

Kind of off topic, but Freddy definitely had a wild side. Maybe not out of control. I don't know.

He didn't get AIDS eating chips and playing with his cats. He liked to go out, too, have casual hookups.

reply

He had a period where he told an interviewer about having a bed that comfortably slept six. Or was it eight?

A lot of gay men who come from conservative backgrounds go through a wild period when they finally come out, so Freddie's sleep-six period was normal enough... just very badly timed.

reply

Agreed. But a lot of people who can say the same have also had their say on both sides of the debate. I guess our experiences speak to who we hear. Mine say that May sounds like a bit of a cunt here. Clapton lost some movement in his hands which he would understand better than most what a devastating thing that would be for a musician.

reply

If he understood the scientific method he would know that vaccines are bullshit. Go look at the Qatar studies that compared the immunity rates between Pfizer, Madera and natural immunity... Natural immunity is far superior providing more than 97% success in warding off a hard covid case where as the maximum you can get with vaccines and multiple boosters is just over 40%. So sorry, but the best option is getting the real virus and getting over it. The vaccines actually increase the susceptibility of getting the virus in certain situations depending on the vaccine and the amount of time since you had it.

reply

Coming from something that looks like that, calling someone a "fruitcake", doesn't mean much! Some of us are not sheeple and we take into account that ZERO information has been given about the vaccines' long-term effects, nor has there been any real testing of the vaccine. So, this fruitcake can shove the vaccine up his ass, next to the cock!

reply

Your comment is beyond useless. You might as well walk down to your local courthouse and start swinging your dick around, for as much as anyone cares to pay serious attention to such a wild and ugly statement. Keep it up; we need to easily identify the creeps around here.

reply

Were you dumb enough to get “vaxxed”?

reply

I got vaxxed, because I spent 2021 being involved with the fight against COVID, and that was the year we saw the patterns in death change from being random... to being 98% unvaccinated. Yes, that was the pattern, people who were vaccinated still got the disease, but while the vaccine wasn't 100% effective, it was effective enough to keep the disease from killing them. That absolutely makes taking the vaccine worthwhile.

Plus, I know the difference between trusting real scientists who are genuine experts in their field, and trusting people on youtube who say "I am a scientist".

reply

it was effective enough to keep the disease from killing them

And THAT'S exactly the thing you cannot prove. There were also unvaxxed people NOT dying from Covid. 93% of Covid deaths were above 50 years old, 75% above 65. Hell, yes people are dying in that age, surprise, surprise...

reply

Do you demand as high a degree of proof from statements that agree with your prejudices? Betcha you don't!

But seriously, you have totally got the wrong end of the stick. When confronted with a deadly disease, only a fool argues about the effectiveness of preventive measures to the last percentage point, when they could just be the taking preventive measures. Because preventive measures are you survive plagues, and how you do your part to keep the plague from spreading through your community and killing others. Do you not fucking care if it kills others, and you could have done something to prevent their deaths?

Because beleve me, COVID killed like a motherfucker in 2021, and it killed people in the prime of live, people with little kids who are doing to grow up without a parent. It was a horror show I'll remember for the rest of my life, all those needless deaths, that people like YOU didn't care about preventing...

https://www.statista.com/statistics/1191568/reported-deaths-from-covid-by-age-us/

reply

Here's another statistic: 6,371,474 people have died of COVID, 0 people have died of the COVID vaccines!

Anyone who looks at those numbers and concludes "Work against vaccination" is, indeed, a "fruitcake".

reply

0 people have died of the COVID vaccines? Not even Pfizer claims this. 😂🤣 Where does this statistic come from? Right out of your ass? You wanted proof, I gave you, you can't handle it, fact. So you better shut up.

reply

Use info from a reputable source staffed by real scientists next time, fruitcake.

By your standards you should believe anything I say, because I'm on the internet and I claim to be a scientist. Yeah, that's right, I'm a scientist...

reply

Statista.com is reputable, moron.

reply

Is not. Is it a peer-reviewed scientific journal? No!

And that's the point people have made over and over on this thread, and which has flown over your head - the difference between trustworthy scientific information and crap on the internet that tells you what you want to hear.

reply

The problem with your "peer-reviewed scientific journals" is: Who funds them? I guess you accept only those funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation...
But hey, genius, same data here:

reply

Oh God, he's just dismissed the entire scientific establishment, because they tell him things they don't want to hear! There's no hope for some people.

Fuck off, idiot, you are just too stupid to rate any more of my time.

reply

Kiss my ass.
