It can be anything from obsessive-compulsive disorder (a type of "behavioural addiction" disorder that develops to deal with anxiety) - however, the emphasis particularly on "image" often denotes a disorder related to appearance (it could be anything from an eating disorder - bulimia is a type of binging and purging addiction that increases with anxiety/stress - or even exercise addiction - which is now considered a type of "physical" purging and is similar to the bulimic's vomitting food).
