shareI can assure you that Lily Tomlin and John Travolta are NOT siblings. They may share similar features (ex: hair & eye color, etc.) BUT they are not related (other then the fact they could share ancestors from a way back). However, many feel John's older sister, Ellen Travolta looks a lot like Lily (at least in the 70s & 80s) especially during the time Ellen appeared on the popular television series "Charles In Charge" in the late 80s. Also -- many feel that because Lily and John had almost identical haircuts in the movie Moment By Moment (which they both starred in) that it appeared they had some relation. I hope that sufficiently answers your question. . .
Sincerely, lily's #1 fan

And here's one more - Ellen Travolta had a small part in "Grease", as one of the waitresses in the diner, where she REALLY looked like Tomlin.
Didn't Travolta and Tomlin kiss in Moment by Moment, though? That should be a clue (not that anyone saw that movie).

Ewwww, "Moment By Moment"!
Not that I ever saw it.

By all accounts it's one of the worst movies out there - well it's not really out there, since it's never been released on any kind of home video, and it disappeared immediately from theatres.

I have it on video. I'm a mega Lily fan. If you look hard enough you can find almost anything on vhs/dvd. It is not that awful of a movie, people have exaggerated how bad it is thru the years. It's just a love story. Maybe not Lily or John's best work but I think people need to get over bashing it. And I wouldn't be suprised if it DID come out on DVD, after all I never thought I'd find it on VHS and there it was.
Yes, I'm spreading bad news about a film I've never seen, and that's not a good thing. Thank you for another opinion. I really would like to see it sometime. I love Lily too - I'm the ONLY person I know who thinks Murphy Brown took an upturn when Lily Tomlin joined the cast.
Now, off-topic..."Exorcist II: The Heretic" I have seen, and it really is one of the worst movies I've ever...well, you know.
