Hello, Leelee Sobieski fans.

I was on the internet last night and came across a surprise news post about my american, jewish, and polish crush Leelee Sobieski aka Liliane Rudabet Gloria Elsveta Sobieski.

Leelee Sobieski announced, that she is retired from acting. She was saying, the acting industry wants people to have sex in every scene which, a lot of films the director casts you in wants you to do that. Leelee Sobieski said, that she doesn't want to do that because she is happily, married to Adam Kimmel her Mens Fashion Designer and they had two beautiful children. One of their names is Louisiana Ray Kimmel.

Good for my female girl crush Leelee Sobieski standing against Hollywood's sexual immorality lifestyle they successful stars to participate in to get those Oscars. Leelee will not sell out for the big bucks, endorsements, and certainly not the Illuminati who are hidden behind the entertainment industry. It isn't worth your life, health and soul.

When celebrities get to a certain level in Hollywood the Illuminati will approach them with deals, endorsements, and a satanic oath to uphold if you want to get rich, and be successful as a star.

Sobieski NEEDS to get off her high-horse and stop flattering herself. She was NEVER a good actress to begin with. She was one of those typical Millennial aged actresses who always exaggerated things about their individual acting. Not like Megan Fox or Amber Heard or Kristen Stewart who admit to their flaws and they don't try to pretend that their acting is "all that." Sobieski, on the contrary, really taught she was "the shit" when she never was to begin with. She was a shit, fucking actress who took herself WAY TOO SERIOUSLY. God, I am pretty sure with the right roles, Mega Fox and K Stew would stand a better chance at winning an Oscar before Sobieski ever would. Right now, anybody and everybody is a better actress than Sobieski including even Lindsay Lohan. As far as secular movies are concerned, good fucking riddance to her. As for the Christian bullshit, look forward to seeing her in God's Not Dead 3.

Usually when a married man hooks up with a woman other than his wife, he would like it kept a secret. Is it usually kept a secret? I think it depends on who the man is and how big the check is. Many moons ago in this very space we were introduced to an actress who had her biggest success as a teen and into her very early 20’s. Even then, she was more interested in things other than acting. She made a significant amount of money being a dominatrix to actors/producers who could afford her very expensive non-sexual services. Did I mention the services were expensive? Unlike most young actresses, she didn’t need to go to audition after audition. She made a ton of money and when she did want to act, all she had to do was talk to one of her clients who would make some calls and our actress could do some acting. Fast forward a few years and our actress meets a guy she wants to be with forever. One tiny catch. She doesn’t want him to discover her past. She prefers him to think she is an innocent. Someone who is there to experience something together as a couple and not worry about what happened prior to them being a couple. She had this grand vision of how she wanted him to see her and it didn’t include whipping some closeted A+ lister while he wore nipple clamps and recited lines from his movies. So, an agreement was reached. She would be quiet. Her clients would be quiet. At one point she had so many clients that she had farmed out some of the work to a friend who now took over the whole empire. Meanwhile, our actress gets married and walks away from acting and spins and spins about why she did. In the past few months, she is worried her 24K gilded existence will come to an end though because one of the producers who was a client is facing money issues. He won’t write a book but he is not opposed to blackmailing the now very very very wealthy by marriage actress for some money each month to keep their secret.

A few years ago it seemed like you could not watch any movie without seeing this actress. She was everywhere. She was the it girl. She was the next big thing. She was in big movies and blockbusters and even got nominated for some of the bigger awards and then one day, she was gone. Vanished. She was B+ list at the time and now, if she decided to come back, she would probably still be close to a B because of her name and what she did in her short time. She has talked about coming back but she went through some of the roughest times that I have ever heard. She was in her late teens when she really got noticed and that is when it became hard. There was the movie with the method actor who has been nominated for an Academy Award and is A list all the way. He decided that he was going to do drugs for the movie and insisted she do the same. He said he would get her fired if she didn't, so there she was in an alley in a city she had never been before smoking crack with an actor who said it was all part of the process. When he forced her to have sex with her "to keep things real," she wondered if that was part of the process too. Apparently his process involved him having sex with every female on the production. There was the producer who kept wanting her to read for a part and would keep insisting that she come at the end of the day to his office. After everyone left for work. She knew what was going to happen. She knew it and told her agent she didn't want to go and why couldn't she meet the producer somewhere else. The agent told her the producer always did it that way. A soon as she got to his office and he reached for her breast she ran screaming from the office and never went back. Her agent acted like it was a big misunderstanding and he would get her another meeting with the producer. Maybe they could go to dinner or something.

She talked about the time she had agreed to do a love scene, but with no nudity and the director kept her in her trailer for three hours yelling at her that she needed to get naked for the scene to make it real. There was that word again and she was tired of it. He gave her something to take and then had sex with her and she finally agreed to get naked for the movie. There she was in front of 30 other people having sex on camera and the director yelling at her to make it more real. more sexy. He never even used the scene. It ended up on the cutting room floor. She later heard he had hours of footage of actresses from scenes just like hers that ended up in his home but never on screen. He loved the power. After one too many gropings on set or coke being offered to her. Our actress just left. She walked away. One second she was there and one she was not. She says she has quit forever. Leelee Sobieski

Yeah, like Jennifer Lawrence had to do that awful Russian spy film which was total exploitation of her fame and mass appeal. Better to walk away with dignity than accept roles like that. Still Leelee being against sexual immorality in film after doing Eyes Wide Shut is kind of rich.

I think I posted here already, but I don't understand why she is constant click bait at the bottom of my MC screen.
She wasn't a terribly significant actress in the first place and nothing seems to be scandalous about her now. But we all need to know why she's out of the biz? I'm more interested in Bridgit Fonda but still don't NEED TO KNOW that much about her retirement. (Married Danny Elfman, guy has a blast making Millions of $$, why work?)

For a while, she was the IT girl of Hollywood of the late 90's. She had the looks and wasn't a bad actress to become a star. But she reminds me a bit of Shannyn Sossamon (Knights Tale) who came out as the same time as Leelee, but I think both never really took acting that serious and only did it as they could make easy money from it.

Leelee, peak years seem to have been late 90's to early 00's. After that she got herself stuck in B-Movie land, the dreaded wife/Girlfriend roles and cheap horror flicks. Seems to have settle into married life and been a mother, her film career seems on and off since 2010. Also reading up on her, seems like she got into acting to keep her artistic family (her mother was a struggling writer and her dad a Artist/Actor) afloat. Also she hated Hollywood and it's backstabbing nature. So Acting wasn't something she wanted.

Umm ok, you come to a MOVIE forum frequented by MOVIE LOVERS to suggest that we boycott movies because of the morally bankrupt industry?

I normally don't agree with that guy at all, on anything, but in this case I at least partially agree. Hollywood is largely a cesspool. I always hope that the individual directors and actors I support are okay, but Hollywood itself it obviously a shitty place with little in the way of a moral foundation to stand upon. It's essentially impossible to ignore Hollywood's output if you're a movie fan but I do praise those filmmakers who waved goodbye to the place and decided to produce their stuff independently.

Absolutely. Well said.

It's perhaps why I have such a passion for local Australian movies, in that it's so far removed from the Hollywood system and the majority of films made here are independent.

But I will never boycott movies, Hollywood or otherwise. Just won't happen.
