What happened to actor Brad Rowe's film career?

Brad Rowe was presented as 'the new Brad Pitt' when he debuted in 1998's "Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss". He worked steadily as an actor through 2013 (in mostly forgettable films and television episodes) and then disappeared. He's 52 now, still great looking, but off-screen. He's the host of talk-radio's podcast series "MIPtalk". Any reason why he put his acting career aside ? Any Hollywood gossip on him over the years?

He starred in a movie called Christina's House that rubbed some producer the wrong way and he was taken off the fast track. It might have been a casting couch issue. He ended up doing TV. He had 5 minutes of fame.
