She denies any wrongdoing beyond drunk driving. She wasn't convicted of harming a child as far as I can see. Give the woman a fair hearing.

Okay, but she was cleared of lewd conduct charges. I suspect those charges were homophobic in nature and not any indication of her behavior. Some screwball didn't like a lesbian being a foster mother.

Her problem was alcoholism and if she's sober, no one should have an ethical problem with her now.

Possibly. But when people take a plea deal it's hard to know if they really are guilty or if they don't want to take a chance on different sentencing.

Well I'm "LGBT" and the term asexual as a sexual orientation is a fraud. She has a sexual orientation. We all do. She's a lesbian.

I was only joking about that poster's use of the gender neutral "they".

I know that homo, hetero and bisexual are the standard sexual orientations which cover everything, if you live in the real world and believe there are 2 biological sexes, male and female.

I know that asexuality is a handicap like blindness, the lack of a function. It's not a real sexual orientation.

I suspect Poundstone is a lesbian who can't function sexually.
