No different than a younger gay man dating a much older gay man or even the same goes for May December romances in the heterosexual world. Who cares as long as they love each other and aren't hurting anybody or themselves. I'm heterosexual and female, but I can see the appeal of Holland. She is incredibly talented, whip smart, witty, always played the sexy, chic boss or mother in theater, movies or tv shows. Sarah was with the amazing Cherry Jones for years and she is also much older than her.
shareThat's ageism at its worst. We all grow older and that's when we mature and realize that age doesn't change who we are inside. Our outside changes but almost all of us still feel we are the person we were when young.
But continually being reminded that you only have value if you are young eventually catches up to the people promoting that idea because they too eventually find themselves staring in the mirror at someone old.
