You should hate him. He is without question the worst actor in hollywood. Just look at his resume if you don't agree.

I can think of many far worse actors than him.

To be honest eberything he has been in that has failed was doomed from the beginning because the story was badly written and just plain crap. Jerry was great in Sliders until the writers got retarded and he was also great in Crossing Jordan. 2 of his big tv series and he has been in a fair few entertaining movies.

Sounds like some of you people either don't have good taste or are jealous of Jerry?

Look Mary,

There's no question that Jerry is an attractive guy. However he has bad judgment when choosing projects and he can't act. I don't think we'll ever hear, "And the Oscar goes to Jerry O'Connell." But his acting aside, he has an attractive wife and two beautiful kids which is more important than anything else. But don't try to defend him by accusing us of being jealous of his perceived acting talent. It's not like people just attacked an actor with the abilities of: Tom Hanks, Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson, Denzel Washington, Sean Penn, Dustin Hoffman, and Russell Crowe which are all Oscar winners in the Best Actor category.

Personally, I like his acting and definitely like his looks. I should have been more specific in what I posted before. I should have asked the women what they thought about his acting and his looks, and I should have asked the men if they were jealous of him because of who he married.

He is a completely passible TV actor. He does need to get some cred under his belt so he can be offered some better shows, or better yet work with some talented folks and put together his own show.

He was very good on Crossing Jordan, he was on that show for 5 years. And yes Sliders is considered a success, basically any show that can string together 5 seasons is considered Successful.
