ugliest actress i've ever seen and thus shouldn't be an actress in movies or tv

i actually felt pain from looking at her face in a promo for her show the handmaid's tale. that's how ugly she looks. now, i understand she has little makeup on that show but still, it's a crime to humanity looking at a girl that ugly and no actress on a tv show or movie can look that ugly. it's against the rules of being an actress in a movie or tv show.

reply

Agreed. Had to stop watching invis man bc of her face

reply

and exactly right. like dude get the hint you shouldn't be in a movie or on tv. why can't hollywood get this. she's average, ordinary looking at best and that's never cut it in hollywood unless you are meryl streep who is a once in a lifetime actor and elizabeth is not in the same stratosphere as her.

yeah, in ivis. man there's something really off putting about her face, it's her eyes and her nose, she looks like a rat, and she's homely and hideous looking.

reply

its wokewood. everybody deserves a role, despite looks or talent.

reply

You realize there are plenty of unattractive people in real life right? It would make no sense if movies/TV shows had nothing but attractive people.

reply

there are plenty of retarded people in real life as well and not everybody can become a professor

reply

WOW...THAT MAKES NO SENSE.🙂

reply

ok sure.
why should actors represent the average society? its a job.

a job that relies on looks.

reply

IF YOU ONLY WATCH MELROSE PLACE AND MTV MAYBE...WHY DO YOU THINK TV AND MOVIES SHOULD ALL BE CAST WITH MODELS?...REGULAR LOOKING PEOPLE HAVE BEEN STARS SINCE FOREVER...BOGART AND STREEP OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD...YOU SEEM TO HAVE A TWISTED VIEW ON A WORLD YOU DONT UNDERSTAND.🙂

reply

i wonder how twisted you are. both bogart and streep were above average looking and definitely a million times better than E.Moss.

reply

LMAO...MUST BE NICE TO BE ABLE TO LIE TO YOURSELF...YOURE ALWAYS RIGHT THAT WAY,HUH?

reply

ofc im right, im superior to you

reply

OK...DOES THAT MAKE YOU ALL WARM AND TINGLY?...

reply

no, thats just normal to me

reply

Streep may be above-average looking, but not by much. Same with Bogart, who was known for his charisma and distinction, more than classic good looks.

reply

Yep. Streep and Bogart had "it" but Moss does not. I don't find her attractive but that isn't reason for her to not be in film. Attractiveness is a nice side feature but not why I watch films.
Moss has no special talent that draws me. Underwhelming to be honest.

reply

Without attractiveness or no special talent (as you said), what's left?

reply

For me? Nothing. Seems plenty of others hold her in higher regard. Maybe she is box office gold with that crowd if they are large enough. I personally am highly unlikely to see another movie she is in. The Invisible Man was terrible and she was wholly unremarkable in it.

reply

well.. could it mean that she is cast due (aside from bankability) to her unattractive looks?

reply

No she’s cast because she’s a good actress. It’s as simple as that.

reply

That's a revelation. But we were discussing the correlation between LOOKS and casting. So, no correlation exists?

reply

Possible. Even probable in cases like Mad Men and Handmaid in Wonderland. Like I said, for me, it is that she lacks any part of the package. I don't have to think she is good looking to appreciate her. I find her bland.

Does her Scientology affiliation help her land movies? Or does it hurt her? I know a lot about that wacky cult but I don't know what kind of sway they have over the Hollywood casting machine.

reply

Nobody ''deserves'' something just because they want it. Sorry, but equal-opportunity need not apply to casting.(nor modeling, to a greater extent). Movies/TV does show unattractive people, but it's not a random casting decision. People can be whatever they wish, or happen to be, in real life. Hollywood must be the latest victim of today's pandering by indulging anybody who wishes to be an actor due to self- entitlement, which unfortunately, has become the norm.

reply

no, she has just too ordinary of a looking face. she looks like a girl you'd see at the grocery store. hollywood has higher beauty standards than that. she looks very mousy, her eyes looks really ugly in the invisible man so much so that it's painful looking at her. i don't need extraordinary beauty in my actresses but they need to look at least not ugly and she is ugly.

i think the problem though is she can never pull off the no makeup look. in the invisible man she doesn't have makeup on in most of the movie and also on the handmaid's tale she has no makeup on. she can never pull this look off. so she needs to stop not wearing any makeup in movies and tv shows. it's really off putting and ugly and painful to look at her face like this.

reply

exactly. she is way too below average looking. she is the type of girl that had no friends in highschool lol.

i mean, what is this? https://img.cinemablend.com/filter:scale/quill/4/6/4/0/f/b/4640fb7f88c134d06e674a00da33a993cebf8d1c.jpg?mw=600

and this guy is telling us streep is her level of fugly? https://bilder.t-online.de/b/85/97/03/40/id_85970340/tid_da/mit-manhattan-gelang-meryl-streep-damals-der-durchbruch-.jpg

reply

Beauty is subjective. I don't think she is ugly at all. And there are no rules that state that an actor has to be attractive.

reply

Exactly. And some roles call for somebody less attractive.

reply

you are a liar or mentally ill. its been proven the concept of beauty is objective. and she is not

reply

Shallow HAL

reply

👍💯👍💯

reply

actually there are. look at all the hollywood stars from the beginning of time. they've all been beautiful because people want to see beautiful people in movies in theaters and at home. they don't want to see average, ordinary kind of people you might see on the street or at the grocery store.

the very fact that a lot of people are slamming her for not being beautiful enough or is ugly proves she is not beautiful enough to be a movie star or tv show star. most people don't talk about a hollywood star being ugly or not beautiful enough.

movies and tv shows are about a dream, a fantasy of magically beautiful people in magical, out of this world stories.

reply

I think it's the nose, luke. (rhinoplasty has always been a career breaker/ maker with romantic leading actresses) You speak realistically about how looks are an important part of being an actor. It's only human nature to prefer watching attractive people on the screen (as we do in real life), with the exception of character-actors.

reply

yeah, just try telling this and proving this to all these stupid people on here. they are blissfully unaware ignorant and think they are socially evolved and respectful to all humans. we want to escape the mundane lives we live by watching beautiful people doing fun exciting and amazing things that most people don't ever do. it's about escapism.

it's the eyes. my gosh such dull, ugly, dirty swamp water eyes that are extremely annoying looking. that is the main reason why she is ugly and thus not fit to be a movie or tv show actress.

reply

You're fine, luke. It's the PC sheep and likely their age, enhanced by the obligatory arrogance. Many cannot write more than one sentence at a time without their attention drifting.

reply

exactly and this makes movies worse since the '00s started. that is when movies began being dumbed down and simple and crude and too fast paced.

they can't or don't spend enough time on story and developing characters or writing long dialogue with substance anymore because with the generation after x everyone has adhd so they can't concentrate for longer than 5 minutes without an explosion or action sequence. i blame the generation after mine, generation y for this.

today a very few amount of american filmmakers make long shot scenes, people like martin scorcese and quentin tarantino.

reply

Beauty is subjective only to a degree (unlike whether you, personally, are physically attracted to them).
There are no rules on being attractive if you dont mind being cast for "unattractive woman" listed on the casting-breakdown; Hollywood still has it's preference (rules) on casting beautiful people with box office in mind.

reply

what do you mean by your first sentence?

reply

She’s insanely hot compared to how ugly you are on the inside.

reply

**APPLAUSE**

reply

Yes!

reply

She is beautiful

reply

HAVENT YOU BEEN BANNED YET?...YOUR POSTS ARE ALL HATE AND STUPIDITY.🙂

reply

what an ass. ignored.

reply

I'd hit it. Not insanely hot, but she's cute.

reply

she is cute and hot when wearing makeup.

reply

She has a unique look and I find her oddly attractive. She’s a decent actress, too. I would date her.
