I don't know if lovable is the right word.

I thought he was a believable, nuanced character. Most people who have bigoted ideas like Archie aren't pure evil.

I just remember a time when a famous producer could casually use a term like "loveable bigot" and it wasn't a big deal. Try using that term in 2023 and Karens would melt down.

Archie was right. And he should have kicked that loser Meathead's ass, then kicked him out the front door onto his ass.

Very true. Archie was the only productive member of the Bunker household and he was constantly being lectured by Meathead, a hippie who was leeching off of him. I think most Americans picked up on this.
