i don't even know why but he drives me insane, ive never been so annoyed by someone that i was driven to complain about him on his board. he makes my skin craw. all his jokes are so obvious and unbelievable i dont see how anyone could stand him. he plays weeds the same way he played angels in america which after seeing weeds makes AiA just seem like a big joke. in AiA everytime he would start talking i would just think oh *beep* here we go again, and all i wanted was him to stop talking and go get his teeth fixed.

I think that's what they're going for. His character has basically no redeeming qualities. I think he's perfect for the role.

I'm going to assume that "craw" is a typo. I agree with kw, I think he is hilarious in this type of role. Also, his teeth are part of what keeps him unique. Who wants a world full of Tom Cruises? The teeth are sexy. Don't ever fix them.

Oh my God - you hit the nail on the head! I am watching Season 2 right now on DVD and I hate him! I just finished Season 1 and thought, "God, I hope he isn't in Season 2." Well, there he is. I agree he is just the same as he was in AiA. He's smarmy and annoying and a bit over the top in his acting. I know his character is supposed to be that way, but he grates on my nerves, too! I'm almost thinking of fast-forwarding through his scenes...

I hated him at first to but i got used to him around and i think it was good for the boys to have their uncle around. Also he's very sexy..

His jokes may be obvious but he doesn't write them, blame the writers not the actors. However, I think that is what they are going for. Uncle Andy is the person you love to hate. Personally I love him!

While I don't think he over acts, but I have heard that he does from other people...that would probably be due to his background in Broadway, duh.
