Has he EVER been a good guy?

Jason seems to almost always be typcast as a villain. I don't think I have seen him as a good guy, or atleast a normal person in any movie I have seen.

Yeah, a few times, but according to him it's much more fun being a baddie. You can see him in Black Hawk Down (Cpt. Steele) and Armageddon (Quincy, the scientist who came up with the drilling idea) as good guys, and he even did a rom-com called Passionada. By far my fave though, good guy wise is Mark Brydon in The State Within (BBC miniseries)

reply

You could try Passionada and there is the biopic he did titled the Curse of Steptoe. I hesitantly recommend Good because it is not an easy movie for most people to watch.

I've just been watching him in a few epiodes of The West Wing and he's a good guy in that.

He was a good guy in Event Horizon-unfortunatley poor Jason met a rather..how did Lucius Malfoy describe it?...'sticky end' in the movie. Not for the faint hearted.

Never mind the good guys-he plays a villain soooo well :-)

Also the last Don 2

He was the Priest having it off with Rosemarie and was going to take her away then he gets cold feet and shipped off to Ireland where he gets killed

he plays the father of the children in Peter Pan and does a fantastic job. Completely hilarious. But then on the other hand, he plays Captain Hook as well in the film, so there he is back being a bad guy.

reply

Mr. Darling and Captain Hook have always been played by the same person, so it's part of the role of Captain Hook.

I'm just watching end of S5/S6 of TWW (some eps I missed 1st time around) & see that he's in a few eps as an Irish photojournalist involved w/ Donna. His character is V charming, smart, & a hottie! I'm going to check out The State Within soon- in my Netflix cue.
