very underrated
Colin really can hold his own and is taking his time coming into his career, I think he is a great actor, disregarding any bloodline or perks he may have had growing up in the business, I think he's going to go far.
shareAgree very much so... Lots of negativity regarding Colin, which is sad but expected. I had the pleasure of seeing him on a number of occasions prior to learning his Hollywood lineage. While not knocking me over with a uniquely strong presence, say, that of Mickey Rourke in Body Heat or Brad Pitt in Thelma and Louise (appearances designed to do just that: draw attention). What I did see was an efficient workmanlike portrayal of the character(s) as the writer(s) had intended -- enhancing but not detracting from the productions storyline.
It remains to be seen what Mr. Hanks will do should more promimnent roles come his way. I can only wish him well -- as breaking out from within the shadow of a famous parent can't be easy. I applaud his efforts thus far.
