Leave No Trace was supposed to be Oscar worthy but got ignored.

He has a history of being ignored. Probably because he's one of the only decent actors left who hasn't tripped over themselves to get in a superhero movie.

Ha I always thought his small role in X3 was humorous. Storm: "Prof X is dead, we're going to close the school." (Angel walks in)
Storm: "Oh, Angel is here, we're staying open."

He was also in The Punisher (2004).
