The publisher of the memoirs could also be in trouble, if he has access to tapes. Even if no politicians or power players are on those tapes, peeps in those tapes might be connected and be willing to talk, so they'll have to shut that down quick, otherwise a whole chain of events will happen
There was something similar that happened in Kpop a while ago - but I suspect this one goes deeper, with much bigger players involved, given that Diddy was most likely an asset himself.
