The greatest musician of all time. A great talent.
What a treat it must have been to be alive in the 80s. I wish I would've seen him in concert.

shareI was never a big fan of his style of music, so I never really followed Prince's albums/songs. But when I heard him on the 2004 Hall of Fame Inductions concert, my respect for him grew immensely! This is such an incredible performance it gave me goose bumps re-watching it just now! Check out the link and you won't regret it!!

3:18 mark is where Prince's kickass solo starts.
EDIT: I found a better "Remastered" version...

Exact same feeling.
I never really liked Prince. I thought "When Doves Cry" was good, along with "Diamonds and Pearls", but his music was too esoteric and weird for my tastes... until I saw the Hall of Fame performance and then, much like you, my respect for him grew. Never knew he was that talented with musical instruments until I saw that performance.
For sure, I honestly thought he was just a front man for some pop music until I saw this. I had no idea he was this talented!
shareThats how you turn a shitty song into a good one. Easy for him.
shareThat was fascinating. Thanks for the footage.
