Better Prince album? 1999 or Purple Rain?

The early to mid '80s were arguably when he was at his peak, when his two iconic albums came out, 1999 and Purple Rain.

So which album do you like better? Purple Rain was more rock oriented, while 1999 was more new wave synthesizers oriented.

I prefer 'parade' myself (but 'Purple Rain' is better than 1999, IMO)

Purple Rain, I like rock so it's my fave Prince album by far.

Purple Rain, but nothing on it is as good as Little Red Corvette.
