A Change In Her Acting?

I have watched Law and Order SVU and although I miss the Elliot Stabler character, I always thought the show was well written and comprised wonderful actors. I don't know what it is, but I don't think Mariska is up to her usual standards with her performance. This is not bashing her at all, but I think she is started to almost "over act" and I noticed she constantly whispers to emphasize her emotions and it becomes almost annoying. I never remembered her doing that so much and it seems very contrived. She is not the believable character she once was, at least in my opinion and I think her acting has changed drastically and not for the better.

Mariska Hargiaty in SVU. Like a bad soap opera actress. Over acts and can't emote aside from changing her voice to a trembling whisper and standing with her mouth gaping. She was never that good, but she has made her show unwatchable over the last few years. One of the weaker actors on SVU, yet gets the most screen time.

I so see a little change but I still like her. I think her role is just so different now. Being Kragen is boring.
