This guy had an incredible career. A stuntman for 30 years before getting acting parts, his career spanned from the 1930s til his last role in Lynch's The Straight Story.
and not a single post on moviechat.

Maybe he just doesn't know about this site?

Anyway, he was terrific in The Natural, a film everyone should see given it's all time classic status. If he was posting on here, I'm sure he'd mention it...

He was a great actor. A lot of people on this site probably weren't even born before he died.

Incredible career. Was in Gone with the Wind through to Highway to Heaven.
