Everything he composes now is heavy, drum-saturated crap that is devoid of depth or subtlety. He used to be quite good.
I can't wait for Zimmer's latest variation on the same score he writes for every movie.
From the scores I've heard Man of Steel, Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Interstellar were the last good ones, I think. Maybe he used up all his melodies. He hasn't produced anything interesting for the last ten years (altough I haven't heard everything from him).
