Yeah looks like Tom Hanks finally got Revenge on Winkler for picking on him in school...the karate didnt work so he ended up getting him fired...😂

I like this.

I also cannot stomach Tom Hanks. Reading that Henry Winkler - who I like - despises him is quite life affirming.

He was fired from Turner and Hooch but it doesn’t explain how that was Hanks’ fault.

Obviously Tom Hanks, for whatever reason, didn't like him and told the studio bosses to fire him. It's not as if Winkler was an A-list star in 1989 and he certainly wasn't an acclaimed director while Hanks had just had huge success with Big - in box-office terms and being Oscar nominated - so he would have the clout.
