Me? After seeing Trump elected, I say anything is possible now.
She says she has no plans to run, but I have heard Trump say that many times in the past too.
Trump would still call her a loser.

I simply posed this question because suddenly, after a speech she gave at the Golden Globes, speculation of her political aspirations are all over the news!
I felt that it might make for interesting conversation....... that is all.
I perceived that speech as a blend of poignancy and demagoguery and then the following media frenzy you mention seemed to confirm it for me. It definitely came across as testing the water.

shareNot really. Oprah isn't as popular as she was 20 years ago. In fact, many people seem to despise her, I think too many for her to become president. I also don't see her profiting from any kind of momentum like Trump did.
