If Danny had a cop series, who should be his partner?

A few of my suggestions are:

The Rock (Dwayne Johnson)
Vin Diesel (if it was futuristic, he could have Riddick eyes again! SO cool.)
Dean Winters ("Ryan" from Oz and currently "Mayhem" on the Allstate commercials)
Frank Whaley (if you don't recognize the name, look him up -- you'll definitely know the face)
Joseph Gordon-Levitt ("Brick," "Hesher" and a bunch of child-star roles)

Any other ideas?

Tony Shalhoub would be great, especially in his OCD mode. I can just picture the expression(s) on Danny's face when Tony started pontificating.

I was going to suggest the same thing. Your comment about the expressions on Danny's face was great. We need a Monk movie where he is teamed up with Danny.
