Nothing actress

Zero talent, looked like a generic mannequin, no personality whatsoever. The dream woman for psychos, I know a writer on facebook, he's very macho and looks awful but only wants the most beautiful women, and never gets them and pathetically called her an "angel". Why? Because she's one step above lobotomized? She is the perfect wife for and indeed she was, a rapist pedo like Roman Polanski.

reply

Her career wasn't a complete wash, she co-stars in the camp classic "Valley of the Dolls"!

But I don't think she'd have had much of a future in acting if she'd lived. I think she would have aged into a beautiful mature woman, but she didn't seem to have the drive or ambition to claw her way to the stop and stay there.

reply

She was only twenty six when she was murdered. How can anyone, especially someone who did NOT know her, say for sure what her ambitions were? Or say she was "one step above lobotomized"? Ya gotta be a heartless a-hole to attack an innocent murder victim like that!

"Looks like a generic mannequin" HA! What a stupid, heartless statement. She was beautiful. Most women would give anything to look like her. And from everything I ever read about her, Sharon Tate was a beautiful person too. No one in Hollywood ever had a nasty thing to say about her. She was a decent person, didn't deserve to be slaughtered a few weeks before having her baby.

reply

Don't be so sensitive. The Internet ISN'T reality.

reply

So what IS the Internet??? Are we all living in a dream world here?

Sorry if my "sensitivity" bothers you, but then again, according to you this isn't reality!! So why bother to reply?

Internet or not, Sharon Tate's death was VERY real to her family. The OP had no need to post such insensitive drivel about a woman he never met.

reply

Did you ever meet her?

reply

No. Are you implying that I should not feel sorrow for her and her family because I never met her personally?

I heard and read several accounts by her sisters Debra and Patty how Sharon's mother, Dolores Tate screamed at the news of her daughter's murder. The woman was a basket case for several years until the killers got their first parole hearings. That energized her into doing something. She attended every parole hearing. She was determined to see that those monsters were kept behind bars.

As a mother, I can empathize with her grief.

I think Janet Jackson or Brittney Spears make Tate look like a genius. The former are two minor-to-
no-talent "legends" who have endured for decades despite any real signature to their "work." They
are actually labeled "entertainers", "performers", and (gasp) "icons." It's puzzling and revolting.
And the list only starts there (plenty of no-talent males, too).

Just flip through "Us" or "People" magazine, and you will be bathed in nothing but flavor-of-the-year
"stars" photographed grabbing coffee at Starbucks.

Jackson and Spears have at least had decades to PROVE how small their "talent" is. Tate wasn't
given a chance to prove anything.

A senseless and insensitive post by a turd who probably eats Cheetos, masturbates to the
Playboy Channel and lives in Grandma's basement.

reply

You're completely correct. There was no need for this tasteless topic at all, other than to allow the OP dazzle us with his smugness and superiority. He actually brags about his good taste.

reply

Pretty much all the OP does is complains and whines like a child on these boards.

reply

Fuck you.

reply

Letthemeatcake--Im not sure you will see this as I am about to put ypu on my ignore list forever, but you are a supremely ugly person both inside and out. No self-respecting person would want to hear your cruel, antiintellectual ramblings on anything.

reply

Hey OP,

Not cool to talk about yourself like that.

Just sayin....

reply

Clearly there are some self esteem issues with the OP.

reply

True. According to the OP, "no personality". How the heck would you know that about someone you never met?

In the book Helter Skelter Sharon Tate is described as sweet. Vincent Bugliosi writes that in a town like L.A. which can be "very bitchy", no one interviewed had a mean or derogatory thing to say about her. It's hard for some people to accept that a beautiful woman can also be a very nice person.

reply

Had she and her unborn child been brutally murdered when Vincent Bugliosi wrote that? You know how people are made out to be a saint when they die.......it's probably magnified when you die in those cirumstances.

Also she was married to a nonce.

reply

Yes, she was already gone when Helter Skelter was written. Bugliosi briefly mentions how each victim was remembered. For instance, Voytek Frykowski was a sort of actor, a friend of Roman Polanski's who was described as
a man of "limited talent but immense charm."

Not all the victims were described in glowing terms. I know there can be a tendency to describe someone in death as a sainted person. But that wasn't true in the book. Frykowski and Abigail Folger's drug use is described in the book. Also, one of the next victim, Leno La Bianca's excessive gambling debts are mentioned.

But no one ever seemed to have a bad word about Sharon Tate. She was simply and always described as a sweet person and just nice. She must've been nice or at least very forgiving to put up with all of Roman Polanski's catting around.
