Hopefully The Card Counter is different, because I really like Oscar Isaac.

Mishima was good, Affliction was good, First Reformed was good.

First Reformed was crap, Affliction was okay, and Mishima was in 1985 - so, 35 years.

Screenwriter success isn't just about what gets greenlit. Many successful screenwriters get their scripts bought or put into a buyer's market for a fee. After looking up his body of work I disagree that he hasn't had anything good in 40 years. That's your subjective opinion.
