I agree with what Jimmy Kimmel said, she is probably going
through something very difficult, and people should not go
the typical thing and whenever they find someone that
made a mistake everyone wants their pound of flesh.
Something is not right with her, and I doubt she will change,
but Kimmel and Baldwin are closer to the right track on this.
It is time we start finding ways to coexist together with our
fallibilities.
I don't think Rosanne is racist and her show shouldn't have been cancelled. These witch hunts need to stop, because the public will eventually get sick of it all and then when someone really has a valid issue, no one will care. It is somewhat like the boy who cried wolf.

Whatever kind of free pass he has, it's not guaranteed to last.
That's the unpleasant thing about social media, it encourages instantaneous mass criticism of individuals, from Harvey Weinstein to dentists on hunting trips. Baldwin may take another misstep and find himself at the center of a national or worldwide pile-on, or he may not. The process seems terribly random.

She already had multiple chances. Considering her past bigotry, she should never have been given a new show.
shareABC knew she had a history of racist remarks and mental illness. Both have been out there for years. Anyone could research that. I understand ABC was concerned but if they were smart they should’ve found a way to force her off twitter. Have someone else or a bot run her account. Many celebrities have their Twitter set up like that. Too late now. I don’t see her agreeing to being shipped off to sensitivity training or agreeing to seek any kind of help at her age.
At this point, media companies can't trust Roseanne. She's too much of a liability. In less than 24 hours, her own words got her new number one rated show cancelled, reruns of old and new episodes pulled, and her agent kicking her to the curb. In an era where media companies will overlook a lot if you can make them money, it takes a special kind of idiocy to pull that off - but she did it.
Of course that was before he shot a woman.
