I find her to be very un-likeable. I don't think she is particularly unattractive, but her personality in Meet the Parents did nothing for me. I don't know, there is just something about her that I do not like.

share Actyally, I'm wondering why she is never in anything good!? She did "Meet the Parents" and it's sequel "Meet the Fockers" but had only 2 roles between the two films when 1) she played the selfish mom in "Domestic Disturbance" and 2) that forgetable TV series where she played the world's most famous actress (Big stretch there)in "I'm with Her".
Teri Polo's pretty face can't make up for the fact that she sucks as an actress! I just hope we have seen the last of this Hollywood Nobody.

If you read the original post, the poster was saying he found her un-likable, because he didn't like her character in a movie. One has nothing to do with the other.

Right and I am agreeing with the original poster by stating that her acting is the very thing that makes her Un-Likable.
I do not care if she is the nicest person in the world when the cameras are off, her on screen acting is what makes me loose interest in the character she is portraying.
First off I am the original poster and I am not a he...But regardless...yes I have heard of "acting". I did not mean that I only found "Pam" in "Meet the Parents" unlikeable. I was talking about Teri Polo...I find her to be unlikeable in general. Yes, I disliked her character in "Meet the Parents" but I also dislike the actress... yet I can't quite put my finger on why. Characters have only a little to do with whether I like an actor or not. Joe Pesci has played some mean people in films, but he is really likeable.
