shareYes. But I really like Jim Steinman
shareSTEINMAN WAS ALWAYS THE MEAT MAN'S SECRET WIZARD...STEINMAN'S SOLO ALBUM IS PRETTY WEIRD.
share"STEINMAN'S SOLO ALBUM IS PRETTY WEIRD"
No weirder than Meat Loaf's album. It was written for him. From Wikipedia:
"The songs were originally intended to be recorded by Meat Loaf as a follow up to Bat Out of Hell, titled Renegade Angel. However, Meat Loaf suffered vocal problems and was unable to sing. He would record several tracks from Bad for Good for his later albums."
I owned and loved this album. Steinman's vocals couldn't compare to Meat Loaf's, but they were passable. Rock and Rolls Dreams Come Through is a karaoke favourite of mine.
I OWN EVERY MEAT LOAF ALBUM AND STEINMAN'S ALBUM...I DID NOT PICK UP JIM'S SOLO UNTIL MUCH LATER THOUGH...SO I WAS VERY FAMILIARWITH THE SONGS BUT NOT SUNG BY HIM.
shareYES!...YES!...YES!...THE SONG,IT'S ALBUM AND THE SEQUEL ALBUM...ALL CLASSIC!~@ππΎππΎππΎ
shareI don't know, but I see this as an interesting coincidence because I found a line in a movie I just finished as clever and amusing. It was, "Don't let your meat loaf, man", delivered by Colin Farrell's character in 'Tigerland.' It seemed be a double entendre since it was directed at a draftee who was a proud, young butcher in civilian life.
