Of course it's a hair piece!! Once you start losing your hair and receding it does not magically grow back both thicker and lower. But if an actor was ever a star, then virtually all people on the IMDB message boards think that the actor has great hair, is great looking and is a great actor!!

Look at William Shatner for example. In Star Trek TOS, he's practically bald! His wispy youth hair is so badly receded you can pretty much envisage him there and then with a slap head. However, by the time of The Motion Picture, his almost more pubic thicker, wiry mature hair has grown through and he looks great!

What do you mean? He is clearly receding still? His hair isn't thick at all like he once was.
He looks good for his age but he has aged, watch the first Kk film again.

Part of me thinks its not a hairpiece because of the way he parts it,if you look at his side parting at the front it looks like it's thinning,I mean if you're going to wear a hairpiece you a not gonna use one that looks like the hair is not full,I think he is doing the classic Comb over to hide his balding hair.
