are you also worried to be caught in a bank robbery or a workplace shooting or an attack by a religious nutcase? If not then "being worried" is pretty much a choice. Unless you date risky men, indulge in binge drinking, and count drunk but consenting sex as rape, I see zero reason why you should spend time worrying about it. It 'could' hypothetically happen to both women and men at any time but these cases don't reach a worrisome likelihood.
I believe the statistics are that 1 in 4 women will be sexually abused in her lifetime.

It's not like 1 in 4 people experience a bank robbery, a workplace shooting, or attack by a religious nutcase (to use your examples.)

If you do not understand that women are routinely vulnerable to physical attack as part of their life experience, then I'm afraid to say you do not understand women at all.

If a woman sleeps with a man for financial gain, yes, she's a whore.

If she sleeps with a man because she enjoys sex, she's just a normal human. If she sleeps with any men and lots of men just for sex, she's a slut, and the same goes for men who sleep with lots of women just for sex.

Most guys do not cheat. To say they do is a ridiculous statement. All of the women I was involved with prior to meeting my wife happened to cheat on me, yet I don't say "most women cheat". Don't blame all guys for your bad luck or bad partner choices.

You don't have to deal with pregnancy if you use birth control properly.

Unless a woman has some physiological problem, it is possible for her to have an orgasm every time she has sex. My wife does. No, she's not faking, and yes, it is possible to tell without any doubt.

The overwhelming majority of men do not want to rape anybody, and will not rape you. In fact, most of them would try to help you.

So a little perspective would be nice.
