Was he good as singer as briney spears?
Was he? I do t know
shareHe and Freddie Mercury probably the 2 best singers ever
shareIt all depends on perspective and personal preference. Many of his fans were people from the 70s and 80s, who grew up with his music, loved the style he used, and sometimes still chill to his tunes. Some of his fans are from the younger generation as well, seeing as his music still reaches people who like the style and rhythm, despite not being from the 80s.
Other people like me, who did not grow up in the 80s, can't stand his high, nasal voice, and our perspectives are colored by being a different generation, as well as knowing what kind of a guy he was when not singing.
I will be fair and say that he is still considered a legend in the pop culture world, is an icon of 80s pop culture, and many singers and pop artists have been inspired by his works in the past 30-some years.
Britney is more of a known icon of the late 90s/early 2000s. I'm not sure if she'll ever truly reach the same fame as Michael, but her name is still known in certain circles, and she did make it popular for female, teeny-bopper artists to take the stage alone. She did have some original stuff, but many of her songs were also just re-makes of older songs someone else had written. I don't listen to her stuff anymore, save for once in a long while.
He actually started out as a fantastic singer, with a beautiful, clear voice. As time wore on, what seemed like a rather odd style started to take over, until his singing was a series of hiccups and squeals. He started doing a lampoon of himself. It was when it started to slide that way that the rumors got to be a bit much and I quit listening.
But the way he was at the beginning? He was fantastic! And I don't mean the "love song to a rat" days, although he did have a beautiful voice, then. I'm talking the Thriller days. He peaked, then.

As a performer, Jackson appealed to twelve-year-old boys. No one with an adult mind could take that crap seriously.
