I don’t know 3 but I know that man was a beast in The Long Good Friday. I love the end of that movie and damn, I might just watch it tonight since you brought it up! Thank you.

EVERY ROLE...HE STEALS EVERY SECOND OF EVERY CENE OF EVERY MOVIE HE EVER APPEARED IN...TOP TEN ALL TIME ACTORS FOR ME...LOVE THE GUY.

The Long Good Friday
Terrific performance. In particular his acting in the final few minutes of that film is some of the best acting I've ever seen. The way he goes from angry to scared while trying to hold back the tears, desperately trying to keep a brave face on, and then just slowly accepting his fate, all in one camera shot on his face, without saying a word, was superb.

Yes, completely agree. When someone says ‘great acting performance’ I immediately think of Hoskins and the ending of TLGF👍
