Walking The Edge
shareRobert Forster was not a star, he was an actor, and as such he pretended to be other characters as realistically as possible. He did a great job at that. I don't know how or why or if it was an actual talent, or just something like being photogenic, where the camera like "likes" someone.
I always liked him in whatever I saw him in, because it was fun to notice him, but also fun to see the roles that got and how he did them, usually deadpan real. So, the favorite roles people come up with are most likely to be whatever they saw him in and remember him from. Max Cherry was probably his most stand out prominent role since it was a popular movie and Forster was prominent in it.
So sad that he died, and that he died of brain cancer, and on the day this last role debuted. I am glad he got to star in Breaking Bad one more time. Rest in peace Mr. Forster.
Jackie Brown! May he R.I.P. He was a great actor and will be missed.
